Three's more crowded

Roger Wright can't leave his Radio 3 schedule alone. This time, from September, he's largely adding men back to the morning mix - and women to drivetime.   So the Breakfast show will run from 0630 to 0900, with Petroc Trelawney covering some shows for Sara Mohr-Pietsch.  Essential Classics will run from 0900 to 1200, featuring either Sarah Walker or Rob Cowan as your host.   And elder statesman Sean Rafferty gives up some editions of In Tune to Suzy Klein.  Unless, of course, I've got the wrong end entirely of the press release, and they're all going to be double-headed a la Richard & Judy...

Meanwhile, some listeners are setting monitoring devices to count the number of times a recording is introduced with the words "brilliant" "marvellous","powerful", "excellent" and, indeed "essential". Enough to drive you into the arms of John Suchet and Nicholas Owen...
