Lighting Up Time

A big day tomorrow for the BBC's Carl Doran, Creative Head of The Torch.  It's not his only job, thank god - he produces Sports Personality of the Year and Sport Relief amongst other things.

Tomorrow, the UK Route of The Torch will be revealed to Bill and Sian on the BBC Breakfast sofa.  I'm sure Carl's job is only to advise, but watch out for his hometown, Liverpool - and maybe even his favoured club, Everton; Stockport, where he lives; and MediaCityUK, the new home of BBC Sport.

That isn't a sort of wick on the top of Carl's head, is it ?
