Reaffirmation

Lord Patten is giving a talk at the Oxford Oratory, otherwise known as the Catholic Church of St Aloysius Gonzaga, later this month, about how he organized the Pope's Visit to the UK. The notice also states that Lord Patten is honorary President of the church's "Reaffirmation and Renewal Campaign".  I wonder if BBC DG Mark Thompson might be in the audience; he's a member of the Reaffirmation and Renewal Campaign.

Let's hope the duo start a similar campaign once in harness at the Corporation.
