I'm delighted to report, via Building Design, that the original proposal to "wrap" the Olympic Stadium, dropped on cost grounds, is back on. My only anxiety is that it now requires £7m private funding, and that's probably going to come at the cost of some branding. However discreet it may be, it's hardly Olympian.
Still, I'm probably isolated in my worries. I suspect we'll all be branded to death en route to events, exiting Samsung Stratford International via Visa Alley, up through the McDonalds' Mall, past the Coca-Cola Information Center, in the direction of the Acer Arcelor Mittal Tower.
