Wales Online reveals that part of the BBC's 25% cuts in online provision will mean the closure of a dedicated sports site in the Welsh Language. Some sport news will still be covered, as part of the the continuing main news service, but the Welsh will have to look elsewhere for detailed reports on rygbi and pel droed.
The story reveals that the site was only getting 600 hits a week; this is the sort of transparency we need from the BBC. I got 601 hits last week - and there's only one of me !
