The snow in Kent might mean it's only locals that head to
Liquid and Envy in Maidstone West tonight. The venue offers "an unrivalled clubbing experience", but tonight at 10.30 you can also "meet and greet" Pensnett's own "Brazilian oddball" Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho, who takes to the stage at 11.30. Entrance is £7, or £10 after midnight, and tickets are available online at time of writing (1630). This elegant venue provides the setting for his first performance since leaving Simon Cowell's talent show, and the club's dress code for the night is "Sexy, Stylish - like you're got the X-Factor".

Tuesday sees our hero at
Selfridges in Birmingham, singing festive hits for charity, from 6pm. Other gigs are lined up in Hereford, Harrogate and Bristol, before the three-month long X-Factor tour starts in February, when the price for a glimpse of the 54 year-old singer live goes up to at least £27.50.
