Controller BBC2 Janice Hadlow must be hoping that the Gardeners' World "refresh" goes more easily in personnel terms than Countryfile.  Toby Buckland, dropped after two years as main presenter for the returning Monty Don, has tweeted that he's sad to be leaving, but it was a honour to do the show - so that's alright.  But I'm not so sure about sidekick Alys Fowler.

On Sunday, she was blogging blissfully for Auntie about making kimchi, a Korean-style pickle; on Monday, she tweeted "And there I was thinking this week would be ok".
