Well, wherever Mike Hancock's researcher is being held, she may have had access to a computer, but not one with the Russian alphabet. She apparently wrote back to the BBC's Russian service today, in English, after they'd asked for a phone interview. But "she" says "she" doesn't have access to a phone. Of course, in our current world of imposters, someone else could be answering her emails...
I was alerted to this by reading The Guardian timed at 2057; found it on the Russian service website (using Google Translate) but at 2230 could find no reference to this scoop-ette on the main BBC News website, where the main story was last updated at 1731.
