Saddled
On a day when macro issues of public spending are in the headlines, news comes that the website "Oldham Says" is costing the taxpayer £10 per visitor. £25,000 to set up; unique users in the six months six launch so far 2,500. Taking glee in the results of a smart FOI request is the Saddleworth News, the hyper-local site set up by journalist and stay-at-home dad Richard Jones. Spotted via How Do.
