This a list of senior staff in the BBC's Journalism Group, as taken from the "About The BBC" website. I've left out Mark Byford, as he's leaving next year, and the Directors of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, because they have a part-time membership. But will 16% of the remainder vanish over six years, or will they all stay and face 16% salary cuts ?
Chief Adviser, Journalism: Richard Addy (salary last year £104k)
Director BBC News: Helen Boaden (£320k)
Head of Editorial Development: Peter Clifton (£144k)
COO, Journalism: Dominic Coles (£257k)
HR Director: I think this is vacant, as Rachel Currie (£153k) has moved elsewhere
Director of Journalism, MC&A: I think this is vacant as Chris Gottlieb (£150k) is also reported as working for Audio and Music
Editorial Director W1 Project: Andy Griffee (£205k)
Head of Newsroom: Mary Hockaday (£140k)
Controller English Regions: David Holdsworth (£155k)
Director Global News: Peter Horrocks (£235k)
Head of Political Programmes Analysis and Reseach: Sue Inglish (£140k)
Director Editorial Policy and Standards: David Jordan (£167k)
Deputy Director of News and Head of News Programmes: Stephen Mitchell (£195k)
Director London 2012: Roger Mosey (£241k)
Head of Newsgathering: Francesca Unsworth (£165k)
If all the posts are filled at the current levels, that's a total of over £2.7m per annum. Presume each has one PA on, say £20k, and it's over £3m.
