Harmony

In case we forget it, X-Factor is supposed to be about singing. Singing well in a group is not easy.   Simon Cowell has ended up with the groups in this year's XFactor - and has two groups he "created" within his three, probably soon to be four. Until yesterday, his vocal coach was Ali Tennant.  Groups is largely what Ali does - he's written for All Saints, Westlife, Atomic Kitten, Boyzone, Blue; produced vocal arrangements for many more, and, with writing partner Wayne Hector, has sung backing vocals on myriad tracks.

Simon has recalled Yvie Burnett to sort things out. She's a mezzo-soprano who uses the Estill voice training method.   She's worked on many more talent shows than Ali, helping Susan Boyle, Paul Potts and Leona Lewis.  But I can't find evidence of work with groups - will she save the day for Sy ?
