The twittersphere sputtered with some alternative names for the BBC buildings at MediacityUK, Salford Quays yesterday - but the ideas suggested perhaps proved that Peter Salmon was right to stick with "Dock", "Bridge" and "Quay".
Best BBC idea was probably "Shep", "Petra" and "Goldie". Most popular seemed to be "Noel", "Liam" and "Bonehead". Dullest - "North", "East" and "West".
Making a different point: "Just Like", "London" and "Really".
