21% of Americans "research a product or a service" on the web every day, according to a survey reported by Pew Internet. It might be a different 21% every day, but I'd like to bet most of them are doing it at work.
The survey estimates that 52% of the US adult population has bought products such as books, music, toys or clothing online (up from 36% in 2000) and 52% have booked rail, bus or air travel, hire cars or hotel rooms online - up from 22% in 2000.
