The bonfire of the quangoes offers more sparks to come. Take, for example, the proposed integration of English Heritage and the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Only one top job - to be sorted out between the formidable Baroness Andrews and the dogged Dame Jenny Abramsky. Probably not by a Harry Hill style fight.
Meanwhile, the BBC's version of the list seems to have more detail than the Telegraph's. The Telegraph has the British Waterways board to be abolished - and I had visions of the Peel Group having to cough up more to keep Salford Quays clean. The BBC list says the preferred option is to "mutualise" it - whatever that means...
