ITV, under former postie Adam Crozier, now says it would like to continue broadcasting regional news around tea-time, according to Peter Preston in The Observer.
If this is true, they should be made to pay some sort of additional levy to cover the costs of every bid document and consultancy report which were put together on the basis that ITV, under Michael Grade, had decided there was no money in it.
