Change of tack

I've previously pointed out that the Daily Mail had it in for Jay Hunt, departing Controller of BBC1; and perhaps I was a bit equivocal about her record myself.  Over the weekend,  somebody at The Guardian has been re-writing the Hunt legacy, with negative remarks from Steve Hewlett, and Media Monkey (usually John Plunkett).  In the past, The Guardian has been much more supportive of Jay, publishing flag-waving articles by her boss, Jana Bennett.

So who has been giving them the new spin ?
