The Church of England seems to be using a twin-pronged approach to making sure that Songs of Praise, Thought for The Day and other outbreaks of religion stay safe in the BBC's Strategy Review. First, there's a formal submission to the BBC Trust, penned by the Bishop of Manchester, Nigel McCulloch. Manchester/Salford is of course, headquarters for BBC Religion and Ethics, under Aaqil Ahmed.
And the C of E has advertised for a Chaplain to be installed at MediacityUK, Salford Quays. Which is in the Diocese of Manchester.
