Peripherals 2

Some more valuable posts on the Labour's cancer pledges and leafleting tactics this morning.

Dizzy
points to a more useful priority from Macmillan - concentrate on getting people through cancer and out the other side, rather than measuring how fast it's detected.

Unity's (not Unite's) understanding of the stats at Liberal Conspiracy suggests a decent-sized random leaflet could easily explain how so many cancer patients got a Labour pamphlet.

Meanwhile Sean Pertwee (son of Jon) plays Everyman in the Labour ad, The Road Ahead, from tonight. It is not based on the 1995 book by Bill Gates, or the song by Dutch band City to City.
