The BBC seems to be having a bit of trouble "filling up" Salford. Yesterday, Saul Nasse, Controller of Learning broke the news to 32 staff working in his "campaigns" team that their jobs, previously agreed to remain London-based, would now transfer to MediaCity, and they have six months to make up their minds. Saul has only been in post since January - he 's a former editor of Tomorrow's World, who stepped up when previous Controller Liz Cleaver decided not to move north. In the first round, only 26% of Learning took up the Salford deal.
