The latest Pew report on the state of America's news media is out - and the headline findings seem good only for Fox.
Online ad revenue is in decline for the first time since 2002; audiences are now deserting local tv news as well as the network offerings; and the overall number of journalists working in all media is steadily falling.
Fox, however, has put on significant audience - and spent more on staff. Whether these are properly described as journalists is another matter.
For radio fans, there is some good news - audiences have been largely stable over the past five years, with the key change being how people are tuning in. 1 in 3 say they've listened online. Full report here.
