Design Week believes London may soon get an outpost of the National Media Museum (hq: Bradford), perhaps by converting space inside the Science Museum. It says galleries focussing on photography, film, television, radio and the Internet could be up and running in 2012, and tenders are out for architects and engineers to do the design work.
Plenty of useful exhibits could be cheaply available from the smaller BBC by then...
