The two committees of the BBC Trust looking into complaints about Thought for The Day on Radio 4's Today programme ducked the issue of instructing (or otherwise) the Executive to change its current format. However, there was a wrist slap for the complaint-answerers for issuing standard response letters to three listeners, (sections 2.4 to 2.7) when, said the Trust, they had raised a specific additional point worthy of consideration. Now they'll have to read those letters all the way to the end...
