Do you get the feeling that Adrian Van Klaveren and Bob Shennan sit round with a doctored set of Happy Family cards, with big cartoons of presenters on each one ? Bob, at Radio 2, gets Simon Mayo for his drivetime show five days a week; but trades Simon on Friday afternoon back to Ade for a film-based 5Live show with Mark Kermode. This leaves Richard Bacon with four of Mayo's old 5Live slots, and presumably underworked or overpaid. So Bob, with his 6Music magic hat on, finds space for Bacon on Saturday afternoons. Neat ?
