Not quite the right line

In terms of BBC-bashing, a valued reader points to off-message activity at News International - A A Gill's tv review in the Sunday Times.

".....politicians snipe and sneer and throw dung of their own making to cut a remarkable and unique institution down to size, to make it weedy and nebulous and cash-starved, just like independent production companies. Tories who defend the excellence of grammar schools and private medicine want to take apart a beacon of excellence simply because it’s too good for the competition".

And then he goes on to be rude about Ben Bradshaw, which I think is becoming an identifiable trend.
