Tim Davie will be very happy with the BBC audience figures for the second quarter of 2009. Radio 3 is back above the 2m listener mark for the first time since 2006; Radio 4 records a tantalising reach of 9,999,000. Radio 5 live will be ecstatic with a reach of 6.4m, which goes up to 6.5m when you add Sports Extra. Talksport is stuck at 2.4m.
In other digital figures, 1Xtra hits a new high at 634,000. 6 Music, the Asian Network and BBC7 are a little off their best numbers. Those nice people at Radio Today have all the graphs.
