The Daily Mail website surged into top spot amongst national newspapers last month, with over 29.3m unique users - nearly, but not quite, taking the record held by the Guardian at 29.8m in January. Most of the Mail's growth came from users around the world - they rank only fourth in terms of unique UK users.
The Guardian were in second place in June, with 28.9m, followed by The Telegraph with 27.1m., and The Sun at 25m.
