Popularity stakes

Continuing disquiet, at least in the pages of Kent Online, about the dropping of presenters Geoff Clark and Beverley Thompson from the regional 6.30 BBC show, South East Today. The site accuses BBC chiefs of "hiding behind mis-interpreted audience research" to justify the move.

KO suggests the findings may have been adapted to suit the outcome the BBC wanted. "Rather than showing the experienced pair were a turnoff, as alleged, they in fact reveal that the presenters are 'highly rated and popular'".
