What's in a name ?

My old school, Prescot Grammar, re-organised out of existence in 1975, is finally to be replaced by an establishment with one of the longest names in secondary education - "Knowsley Park Centre for Learning – serving Prescot, Whiston and the wider community." Nick Seaton, chairman of the Campaign for Real Education, branded the compromise ridiculous and impractical. But "at least pupils will be able to practise their spelling and grammar every time they refer to their school.” Liverpool Echo.
