Anything else to declare ?

The BBC has disclosed the salary bands of its top 50 staff who are paid more than £160k a year (before expenses etc). Nothing is ever straightforward in the BBC, but assume these top people had evenly distributed responsibility for directly employed staff; with a headcount of around 20,000, that would mean each on this list being responsible for 400 staff. Is that a better way to compare these rates with the "outside world" - or worse ?? And, as we scrutinise the support given to MPs, how many support staff do these senior managers have, to help them with their duties ?
