Big hair and beer

Thanks to all who sent messages after Everton's victory over Manchester United at Wembley. It was my second visit to the new stadium; the first was for England v Croatia, so things could only get better.

Key observations:

• The atmosphere won't be as good at the final, with tickets to genuine fans reduced to provide an occasion for FA hangers-on.
• Mike Riley called more than one thing wrong.
• An extra-large Fellaini-tribute-wig wins friends and also provides a way of getting cheap alcohol into the stadium unobserved.
