Sharing but not caring....

Just when you thought.... According to Broadcastnow, ITV is now saying that the proposed sharing of news content and studios with the BBC in eight regional centres won't reduce costs enough to keep local bulletins on ITV screens beyond 2010. Not much incentive, then, for BBC teams to bust a gut trying to make the sharing scheme work.
