Maurice Jarre
If you like big films and big film music, you'll probably know the work of French-born composer Maurice Jarre, who's died in Los Angeles at the age of 84. Lawrence of Arabia, The Train, Dr Zhivago, Ryan's Daughter, A Passage To India, The Year of Living Dangerously, Ghost, Mosquito Coast - even Mad Max Beyond The Thunderdome. Obit in the LA Times.
