Here's another big picture of the inauguration - or at least, a small portion of it.
Professional David Bergman's panorama was made by clamping something called a Gigapan Imager to the railing on the platform he shared with other snappers, which allowed him to take 220 separate shots, and then the software stiches them together. It takes a while to load on his blog, but you can zoom and pan around the photo. You can also double click to zoom in and double click again to get even closer. Gizmodo recommends looking for Aretha's hat, or Yo-Yo Ma sneaking a photo on his IPhone.
