Maggie Brown in Guardian Media nudged me to the Ofcom website where they've published a range of responses to the debate about funding options to preserve public sector broadcasting.
13 short pieces are published with "name withheld". They're mostly angry at risks to the range of their local tv news services - in Banbury, Bristol and Border. A couple are angry that there's no broadcasting in Irish specifically from and for Northern Ireland, as they believe was promised in the Good Friday Agreement. One is just angry....
I HAVE REQUESTED VIA E-MAIL TO HAVE A MEETING WITH THE HEAD OF COM REGARDING THE PROPOSED CHANGES TO ITV PLC LICENSE AGREEMENTS BUT AS YET HAVE HAD NO REPLY -WHICH IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I FEEL IM NOW LOOKING TO TAKE THE MATTER FURTHER AND WOULD WELCOME THAT MEETING BEFORE I BEGIN TAKING LEGAL ACTION THROUGH THE HIGH COURTS TO GET THE CHANGES TO ITV STOPPED.
