WWW and government
Did the web enable the huge turn-out in the US election ? David Talbot in the MIT Technology Review says both Obama and McCain used a range of web tools - from Skype to save money on cold calls, through to small group emails to co-ordinate doorstep messages - throughout their campaigns. And now Joe Trippi, long-time Democrat campaigner, is suggesting that Obama may now continue the conversation through a MyWhiteHouse.gov operation...
