Niche broadcasting
A recent edition of Richard and Judy's new show on Watch, formerly UK Gold+1, sustained the interest of just 20,000 viewers, reports Broadcast. The old seventies joke about some Radio 3 programmes was that it might be cheaper to post the audience cassettes rather than stoke up the transmitters. At what stage does it become cheaper for Richard and Judy to come round to YOUR house ?
