Disproportionate

I'm really disappointed by the resignation of Dave Barber from the BBC over the Brand/Ross affair. A thoroughly decent bloke shouldn't be made to feel he has to do that; if we're going to have a BBC run with military discipline, there have to be intermediate punishments available. for people who have given years of unblemished service - while superstars get a suspension and a last warning.
