Here's an elegant gavotte. Gerry Gray, Editor Question Time, is returning to the bosom of the Glasgow Newsroom. Gerry was part of the launch team of The Nine, under Hayley Valentine, now running BBC Scotland. Gerry has secured a job called Editor Daily Journalism - a vacancy I can't track down.
Coming in to run Question Time (based in Glasgow) is Julian Vaccari, a long time fixture of the Radio Newsroom, led from 2021 to 2023 by Hayley Valentine.
And Hayley was appointed Executive Editor of Question Time in 2011, then in 2013 became Director of Current Affairs at Mentorn, suppliers of Question Time. She left in 2018, heading back to Pacific Quay to launch The Nine.
