I'm sure it'll upset the anti-BBC lobby, but Auntie has finally agreed a pay deal for 2025/26. It's a package that increases the total paybill by 3.5%.  There's a standard 2.3% for all graded staff, with a minimum rise of £805; then time-servers workers get a variable additional increase of up to 2% depending on their position within the grade - a process described, naively, as 'automatic pay progression'.
