Followers of the current BBC investigation of mucky pictures on social media will note that the Director of What-Passes-For-Policy at Facebook in Europe and Africa is Simon Milner.
Simon was BBC Secretary in the time of Greg Dyke. He brings to Facebook his skills in industrial relations, acquired through a Ph.D at the LSE, and history, acquired through his first degree at Wadham, Oxford. He was a contemporary of BBC thought-leader James Purnell during his first time at the IPPR.
