BBC News will spend less on presenters' chairs, if DQF goes the way being predicted here, and elsewhere. The News Channel will have to manage with one, rather than two, for weekday coverage.  The Guardian estimates there are 13 on the books, but there are many more who seem to make regular appearances - and the list looks even longer when you consider I've left out Breakfast and overnight presenters.
