Doubling up

Until December 2024, Phil Harrold was able to fulfil the roles of both BBC Company Secretary and Chief of Staff, for which he was paid £205k. 

Now it seems the BBC needs a Chief of Staff, Paul Oldfield, on £195k and a Company Secretary, Chris Sandford, who emerged from the Secretariat in February, salary so far undisclosed. 

Meanwhile Phil Harrold is on manoeuvres in News, adding the job of 'Interim Chief Operating Officer' to his current Director of Transformation. Phil "Two Titles" Harrold is back in business.
