Chart topper ?

BBC Studios may soon be having a new tilt at a weekly music show. They've hired James Payne, from indie Lemonade Money as Creative Director in Music and Entertainment. James (Torquay School and Sheffield University) claims his middle name is 5, and is probably aged 42.

He got into tv music with MTV's Total Request in 2003. At Lemonade Money, he won a 2010 commission from BBC2 for No Hats No Trainers, a music and culture show for BBC Two that gave television debuts to Ed Sheeran, Skepta, Giggs, Jessie J,  and Tinie Tempah. They've also produced five series of another music and culture show, FourtotheFLoor for Channel 4.
