Here's a gig that might interest some readers. The Commons Culture Select Committee is looking to appoint two additional specialist advisors, working part-time (around four days a month) for up to 12 months during BBC Charter Review.
You'll advise the Committee on key issues and policy developments in the BBC and public service media; suggest and fix authoritative contributions to the work of the Committee; assist with analysing evidence and drafting briefings; and attend Committee meetings where appropriate.
You'll have to prove yourself to Committee Clerk Ben Sneddon, (BA English Literature, Lancaster University, MA English Literature, Sheffield University) Nile Rodgers' fan and promoter of Caroline Dinenage videos.
Fee is a daily rate based on your experience and knowledge, plus travel expenses. You have until 18th January to apply, ; two-page cv and short covering letter by email is all that's required.
