"Above all what frustrates me is that when these things go wrong, it can take a long time for the BBC to see that something’s happened when everybody else [could] within a matter of hours. It needs to get a grip quicker (she means 'more quickly'), get these reports and investigations concluded sooner, otherwise there is a real risk of a loss of confidence in the BBC, which is a shame.”
The first complaints about Tory MPs conduct as GB News presenters came in May and June 2023. Ofcom's ruling of code breaches came in March 2024. In March 2025 it dropped most actions against GB News, after the High Court overturned a ruling on a case against Jacob Rees Mogg as a 'news' presenter.
