Two pairs of eyes

BBC DG Tim Davie has gone outside the usual suspects in his hunt for a new Chief Content Officer. He's using not one, but two executive search companies.

Grace Blue was founded in 2006 by Gay and Jay Haines and Juliet Timms; it looks likely that Jay, now based in New York, will scour the USA, whilst senior partner Sarah Skinner will poke around the UK and Europe.  They've got client testimonials from the Scottish Rugby Union, who recently appointed a new CEO.

Nicola Ibison set up her media headhunters, Ibison, in 2015; her cv includes surviving production on GMTV and artist management (including Clare Balding, Gabby Logan, and The Hairy Bikers). They have an endorsement from Deborah Turness from her time at ITN.
