It was at the end of August 2024 that we noted a BBC hunt for a Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, to sit on the Executive Board alongside BBC DG Tim Davie. Top headhunters Korn Ferry were on board.
Minutes from the November 2024 meeting of the BBC Board's Remuneration and People Committee note approval of a "salary mandate", which suggests some increase in the original Korn Ferry package. However, six months on from starting the search, there's no sign of an appointment.
