In support of marital harmony, I watched the ITV/Wills and Harry look-at-photos documentary last night. The lumpy, thin, narrative was punctuated by maudlin piano music throughout.
Clearly disturbed, I tried to get back to good radio journalism with the World Service overnight - and, lo, there on the normally-reliable Outlook, the same maudlin pianist was tinkling away on at least two features. When did all this start ?
