Muted fanfare

Sometime this morning, someone switched a new BBC Board and Executive page on. The Board, awaiting members for Northern Ireland and Wales, has only one BAME member, out of 14 - as a percentage, that's just over 7%.  Links to biographies are currently bust.

The new Executive board, of ten members, has no-one from a BAME background.

One presumes a message welcoming message staff to this brave new world has been issued - or is it Easter hols time ? Eton College is closed until 19 April, Oxford University until 23 April, Cambridge University until 24 April, Parliament until 18 April.
