Rosy

Glass half-full analysis of The Nightly Show with John Bishop says it's wethering the storm. Last night it was watched by an average of 1.69m (10.6% share). That's down 300k on the Walliams equivalent last Wednesday - but preceding show Benidorm dropped by 900k. And the ITV News at Ten Thirty held up to 1.14m (10.6%).

However, figures aren't the press narrative today. Mel & Sue have told the papers that their schedules are too hectic to present The Nightly Show. We have Walliams, Bishop, McCall, O'Leary and Ramsay apparently firmly lined up - leaving three presenters to find for weeks 6, 7 and 8. This should be a bit of a bloodsport.
